Arranged in eight-desk circles for group work in a classroom of the Shiprock Alternative School in Shiprock, Ariz., these Smith System Arc Desks feature cherry worksurfaces, black edge moldings and black legs. They also have our optional wire book baskets. Arc Desks can easily be arranged in groups up to eight. Of course, they can be lined up in rows for testing or other individual work.

Smith System Brilliant Chairs provide the seating in this classroom. These lightweight , two-piece stackable chairs have waterfall front edges to remove pressure points from the backs of students legs. This contributes to better concentration, as does the light texture on the seat and back which subtly helps the student resist fidgeting.
